About

Welcome. I’m Michelle Taylor and I’d like to tell you about this website and how it can help you.

I’m an occupational therapist with many years experience supporting people with their mental health, drug and alcohol, and trauma concerns. My approach is based on the science and evidence, while at the same time being practical and enjoyable.

If you work in this area, the section For Health Professionals has information on training, support and resources on Sensory Approaches, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Care. If you’re here for your health and wellbeing, the section For Everyone has ideas to help you feel better and function at your best.

And if you’re interested in reading and writing, you might like to check out my Author section. There’s information here about my books of poetry, organising an author visit, and fun resources and tips!
